Check out this Watercolor Classroom Decor Theme! Are you already brainstorming ideas for a classroom theme for the next school year?! Usually, my brain begins to envision a new theme starting in May! I thought I would share these classroom decor resources with you in case your teacher brain is similar to mine! I do not change themes every year! Sometimes I just tweak areas in the room to keep things fresh. However, I do change after I have a theme for two years and then I am onto the next and placing the old in my storage to use later down the road again!
Over the summer, I was fortunate enough to receive items from Teacher Created Resources! This “Watercolor” classroom decor was SO my style and I think it is perfect for brightening up a space for any grade level. I was also pleased that these resources opened my eyes to the materials that TCR has! I have always used their borders for bulletin boards and bulletin board accents, but I had no idea how many classroom decor selections they had! The best part was how many materials were included in each of the themes! I look forward to using the “Watercolor” decor in the future.
Now…take a look! I also shared a bulletin board I created for our lobby, using the some of the materials.

This “Welcome” packet would be great for decorating your classroom door with student names, or even for a Back To School bulletin board outside of the room! All items punch our SO EASY!
This “You are Capable of Doing Great Things” packet is a great addition for the front of the classroom. I really see this in the higher elementary grades (2nd-5th). Each A-Z letter has a wonderful motto that would be great to focus on weekly or even as a theme for a month.
To stick with the “motivational” theme, the decor packet also includes these positive posters.
This photo includes posters for “Classroom Rules”, “Birthdays”, ” blank poster” and a “Goal Tracking” poster! These are extras that I usually create separately, but I think it’s great that they are provided for you! It makes my teacher heart happy when everything matches…am I right?!
AGAIN, these materials have everything a new theme/teacher would need for the classroom! I know my first year, I struggled coming up with “Classroom Job” names because I wasn’t quite sure what would work for me or my students. I think having different job titles premade allows you to add/change/delete whatever you need for your room!
This calendar packet made me SO happy! These items were easy to punch out and it includes everything you could possibly need for Calendar time and weather. It gives you a board that is truly “pinterest” ready!
If you know me, you know I LOVE bulletin boards! So these resources were an “ahhhh” moment when I opened them. I felt these borders could really go with everything and anything! So I immediately created a bulletin board for our school lobby…
Here are more “extras” that are available in the decor theme!
Okay planner lovers…here is the grand finale! A PLANNER set! I was so excited when I saw the matching planner and stickers for the theme! HOW CONVENIENT? The layout of the planner includes a monthly calendar and then weekly layouts. It also includes a grade section.
I have been so excited to share these resources with you and I hope it sparked some classroom inspiration for you! Enjoy!
