I am from a small town, where our biggest store is Walmart and the closest Target is an hour and a half away! So, I hope you can begin to sense my struggle as a teacher when I see fabulous finds shared by other teachers, and have no way to go out and shop for them. Here is where Amazon comes in! I wanted to share my favorite school finds, that I find myself restocking ritually.
Enjoy!
How I use each item in my classroom…
1. Astrobright Paper- I use astrobright paper for newsletter, handouts, bulletin board letters, or as a finishing touch on student project. Astrobright paper comes in a variety of colors and cardstock also!
2. Happy Planner Seasonal Sticker Pack- I am an Erin Condren planner girl! However, I don’t mind mixes sticker brands! I love the holiday packs for my lesson plans and life plans!
3. Pendaflex File Folders- I keep students files and I also file my center activities as well! I find these folders hold many items, and it makes it easier for me to access them. The bottom of the file folder is flat which allows for the extra space.
4. Plastic Stack Stools- I LOVE these! They are perfect for my guided reading tables AND flexible seating option! They are light enough for my kiddos to move around and easy to stack for space saving. I currently have 10 stools in my room! Great for all age groups.
5. Wireless Doorbell- The buzz on instragram for quite some time! I caved and bought one! I now use it for transitions and clean up time. I love that my students know what it means and I don’t have to shout out directions. They enjoy it also! If you are someone who gets sick of sounds easily, it has 30 ring varieties to choose from.
6. Dry Erase Pockets- PERFECT for centers! It saves on making copies and you can re-use those handouts over and over. Expo markers erases nicely off of them also!
7. Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches- I am lucky enough to have a district laminator. However, I love how think these Scotch pouches are for heavy duty things or classroom decor that I want to keep for years to come. It is nice having my own laminator at hand for projects!
8. Scotch Laminator- This is the laminator! It fits perfectly in my cupboard, heats up quickly, and works great on all my center activities! What teacher does want to laminate ALL the things?!
Please let me know if you enjoyed these school finds as much as I do, or let me know what your go-to finds are! I am always looking for new things!
