As we get adjusted to this new way of teaching, I have tried my best to find organizational tools that work for me in this season. I am a PLANNER! Writing out my lessons in my Happy Planner and being as organized as possible, makes me feel confident entering into the week. I am sharing some distance learning tools I am currently using! These resources can be found online. All tools are linked for your convenience.

My top 5 distance learning tools:
Amazon Products:
- Blue Light Glasses– My first find entering into distance learning were these blue light glasses, because if you know me…my eye site is already not so good! My prescription is very strong! With this new online teaching, I know my eyes are now exposed more to the screen. Wearing these blue light glasses would be helpful to be proactive with my eye site! I have several options linked in my amazon storefront.
2. Post Cards– I wanted a way where I could keep the relationships I have formed with my students going! This doesn’t include the ZOOM classroom gatherings and other online connections, but I thought getting mail might brighten their day. These post cards by teacher created resources are my personal favorite. You can find my other favorite teacher created resources here.
Teacher’s Pay Teacher’s Products:
3. Monthly Planning Calendar– I typically use these monthly planning calendars to keep track of monthly arts and crafts projects I have saved and pinned! Now, I use this product created by Stephanie at Teaching Little Leaders to layout when I will teach certain topics and stay organized and timely with my online learning. This leaves no room to be unorganized.

4. Teach at home weekly routine– This was another resource from Stephanie at Teaching Little Leaders! If you haven’t caught on by now, I truly love the ideas and resources Stephanie shares and use many of them in my classroom and now…during home learning! I was looking for something to keep track of my weekly routine. This includes my ZOOM meetings, my read aloud recordings, when I need to post what etc. This was perfect and the colors and fonts give me hearts for eyes! 5. Distance Learning Calendar– I was looking for a resource to house ALL the THINGS! Meeting times, one-on-one ZOOM calls, days off etc. This calendar created by Little Kinder Creations is available for free in her TPT store. These calendars give me a monthly view for my new life. Helping to put an end to double booking or writing a meeting time on a post-it note and then losing the post-it note (yes that happens at home also).
